Northern Arizona and Southern Utah Highlights
In the past few months, I have seen an increasing demand from my clients for trips to the Southwest. At the moment, I am working with four different clients on their summer trips to the Grand Canyon!
So I wanted to share this list of area highlights. This is an ever-evolving list that comes from both my own experiences and client recommendations. By no means is it comprehensive, but it’s certainly a starting point for anyone planning a trip to the Grand Canyon and surrounding area.
Flagstaff Area
Grand Canyon
National Parks App - This is the best place to start when visiting any of the National Parks sites. There are maps, self-guided tours, info about amenities at each site, and up-to-date events.
Junior Ranger Program - Although it’s design for elementary school students, this program is fantastic for all ages. Kids can earn beautiful wooden badges at each of the NP sites.
Float the Colorado River - This is a dream activity of mine! My kids were too young to do this, but I would love to return to GC and go down the river! This tour takes kids starting at 4 years old and floats 15 miles of the Colorado!
